well, CATS is over and it was AMAZING!!! we broke box office records - selling out five shows!!! we even had to extend the run to have an encore performance because of popular demand - something that's never happened before... the city still wants more, but we can't extend any more, so it's all over... sigh

I'll be going to go see cats here in southern Calif soon, it will be my fourth time, I know most of the songs by heart, love it!

Your ear problem sounds absolutely unimaginable, your equilibrium must be messed up too, how awful, so sorry you had to go through that and suffer from hearing loss.

equilibrium was a huge problem for me at first... i'm adjusting, though... some of the hardest things to get used to have been:

> talking on the phone - i can't hear anyone or anything else in the room while i'm talking...

> hearing my voice come back at me from OUTSIDE of my head... there are no vibrations of my voice heard in my right ear at all... (now it's that voice you hear on recordings... i hate it!!!)

> turning to my left side to hear someone who is actually talking to me from my right side... their voice travels to the left side of my head instead of the right, so i turn in that direction instinctively...

> repeatedly saying to people, "i'm sorry?" or "what?" or just shaking my head "no" and pointing to my ear...
