It is funny that you mentioned trying to get your "own style", but as someone who looked your art on the internet since the beginning, you have your own style right off the bat! Like I can tell that this is your stuff! And you have always amazed me because you continued your online comics longer than anyone else I know. :)
I agree that McDonald's has gotten worse. The portion shrunk. XD; I can make better burgers from frozen beef patties....

I remember that chibi snape from 2004, I'm pretty sure that was the whole reason why I friended you in the first place 'cause I fell in love with your style there.
I thought the extact same thing when I found this picture in my 2004 folder... My goal was to draw the whole Harry Potter characters into chibi form... The thought that I still have this project going on is still in the back of my mind... and it's now 2010, it's been 6 WHOLE YEARS D:
...I guess it's time to let this project go, there's no use worrying about it, eh?
