Yellow Wednesday

On Wednesday morning I was eating my breakfast when I smelt a horrible cooking plastic/rubber smell*. It turned out that a latex pillow was on fire in one of the built-in cupboards in the front bedroom**, so we called 999 and got the hell out. Aled was in his pyjamas so we wrapped him in a fleece jacket

Oh hell, sorry to hear this (but obviously glad that you're all okay).

Do you need any more clothes for Aled? He's still smaller than Alex, so we should be able to send a bundle up if you need them.

(also, we have duplicates of We're Going on a Bear Hunt and The Runaway Train that Aled is welcome to, if he doesn't already have them.)

Thanks for the offer. We wouldn't mind borrowing some more clothes but it is not urgent. Aled still fits in the 12-18 month size clothes we borrowed from you last August. (All of these items were in a chest of drawers so didn't get stained yellow, and the smoke smell has gone now they've been washed)

We already have copies of 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' but we don't have 'The Runaway Train' so that would be nice.
