:( this is getting on my nerves. Lately, not a single day passes without something like this. Gaah, I wanna grab a needle & tattoo "asshole" or "fuck you" onto their foreheads. Maybe that'll make them stop.

I think it's getting on our nerves so much because a lot of the lashing out they're doing is unprovoked.

Maybe if the thread poster had said something like "KAKAYAMA TOTES SUCKS (insert some insult to Yamato here), MINAKAKA AND KAKAIRU ARE TEH BESTEST KAKASHI PAIARINGS EVAR" then maybe they'd have had some leverage for acting like such a total douche. Because I understand that sometimes you just want to protect your OTP when someone talks shit about it. But the thread poster was just stating their own pairing opinions and looking for other fans.

I really wanna know what goes through these peoples minds. When I see someone ripping apart another person's fandom choice, I usually interpret it as them actually saying: "HOW DARE YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION THAN ME. How dare you."

Okay, maybe the one who said "KakaIru & MinaKaka are the best pairings for Kakashi" was being a bit offensive, but STILL. That's NO excuse for acting like a total douchebag, being all like "******* *** ***** !!!" etc. That's just immature and lame if you ask me.

Of course I'm getting pissed at people doing hate art of KakaIru, or talk shit 'bout it. But I'm not running around with a pitchfork and poking their eyes (& balls) out for doing that. It's no use, haters gonna hate, it was always like this, and it will always be like this.

I do, too. We (meaning us KakaIru artists) actually had some fights with KakaYama fans (& artists) 'cause they didn't stop whining and bothering us, and even provoking us with stuff they did. And when we were like "Hello? Got a brain up there?", they ended up saying that we're the mean, bossy KakaIru fans, bashing a poor, underrated pairing like KakaYama.
Seriously, it's the FANS I grew to dislike, not the pairint. :T

You know what, though? The thing I really got from this whole was how stupid and immature this KakaYama fan was, and how mature and civil the KakaIru fans were.

Which sums up KakaYama vs KakaIru fandom wars, if you ask me, biased as I am. I really wanted to high-five the KakaIru fans/those telling the KakaYama fans to stop causing ridiculous drama.

But seriously. Do they ALL have to act like butthurt 14 year olds? I'm getting so tired of it. They've forever ruined any idea of the pairing for me. *sigh* So sad.

I still know some nice KakaYama fans. There ARE nice fans, no denying.

It's just that the idiots took over the place, be it 'cause they don't wanna be "mainstream" with liking KakaIru, they think Iruka is a whimp, or just because they wanna annoy & bother us with even more drama.

I don't CARE if they hate or love KakaIru, or ANY pairing or character. It's just that they want to pressure THEIR opinion upon OUR opinions, and that's not f*cking right.

I didn't want to bring up this point so far, since it sounded too drastic, but this is like religion.
If you don't like certain religion, you'll get killed.
And if you don't like certain pairing, you'll get the drama & provokes of 'em.

This is shit, fandom is supposed to be FUN - so where's the fun in all this drama?

The funny thing is, I had not idea that KakaIru was even thought of as "Mainstream". I mean, SasuNaru, I can see, but I had NO IDEA of the KakaIru fandom when I started shipping it.

But, I agree. All KakaYama fans can't be that immature and dumb; I just really wish I'd see/hear more of THOSE fans instead of the jerks. Sheesh.

Agreed, too, about the KakaIru vs KakaYama not being an issue. It's that they try to force opinions and get so up in arms at the thought of a different pairing. *facepalm*

Not. Fun. At. All. These are the kinds of people that ruin fandom, and are largely the reason I was never a fandom-person and would usually play alone. :/ These drama queens need to grow up already!

Me either. But, along with SasuNaru, KakaIru is still one of the most popular pairings in Japan. So it's easy for the shitheads to tell it's mainstream - but it's not like WE care, don't we? (:

They should simply learn to keep their mouthes shut; it's as easy as this. We don't WANT the drama, they start it, and annoy us with it.

But well, things like these will never end, like the stupidity of manking itself...
