Thank you! And the cupcakes were pretty delicious - I think it's the pepper that makes them!

I will have to try these cupcakes. And I'll make sure that there are no raccoons around when I do!

Hee, yes, the raccoons are very sneaky if they have the chance!

I plan to stop by the remnants of the tea party when I get the chance. I can help you clean up. :)

I have saved many virtual cookies and squares and scones for you! Hee.

I don't know if you saw the earlier comment to my entry from someone who was shocked and appalled by the pepper in the cupcakes. Then she said it was too complicated for her. Heh, crazy kid. I'm so delighted the recipe is a winner.

Heh, I did see that. I guess I might have initially thought the pepper was a bit odd, except I love pfefferneuse. I guess it's more complicated than a cake mix. :) But really not bad! Wish I could have mailed you some, but they could barely survive sitting out on my balcony. I'm afraid the raccoons would mob the mail truck!

Yes to the pfefferneuse love. My Dutch friend sent me some for Sinterklaas a few years back and I adored them.

Also yes to the recipe not being that complicated. Sheesh, it's not like you have to haul out double boilers and candy thermometers.

I long for a day when cupcakes will be able to withstand the rigors of the USPS system. Oh, if only.
