Wow, you even managed to make dreaded okra look beautiful (the only veggie I really, really don't like)!
The Fuzz is adorable - particularly amongst the pumpkins where he looks like he's double checking that they are all still in their proper locations. So cute.
Aren't the fall colors amazing? I'm finding his year to be particularly spectacular.
I foolishly, and briefly, thought I could get the Fuzz to pose by those pumpkins. Ha! I had to just snap him before he came walking over to me for a pet, as dogs and cats inevitably seem to do.
Here's the other "artsy" okra picture. :) Okra isn't my favorite veggie, either, although I'll eat it fried or in gumbo. It's an interesting plant, though.
I'm glad the colors this year are good up there! I don't know what we'll see when they peak, here - we had a lot of rain in September, and that can go either way.
Wow. The leaves pics are gorgeous. And the Fuzz is looking dignified as always. *g* I really am a northern girl though in that I've never had okra before.
Okra is... odd. It's okay cooked certain ways, but it doesn't have much flavor of its own, and it can be fairly horrifying if it's cooked other ways. I'd say it's not a big loss. :)
::sits back to giggle at Ralph eating paste:: (It's a bottomless jar!)
Chiming in to say that "fairly horrifying" is how I would describe my experience trying fried okra some years ago. *shudders* Definitely not missing much at all!
Never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker.rustydogOctober 30 2008, 17:10:51 UTC
The Great Pumpkin flies through the air and brings toys to all the kittens of the world! I'm just worried the Fuzz might have trouble being sincere enough.
*happy sigh* I can't describe it, but your pictures make me ache. Who knew there was such beauty in an okra? Maybe that's how God sees it, and you just capture His vision and share it with us.
::sniff:: Thank you. That was a really nice thing for me to hear today.
And I'm glad you connect with my pictures too. I think taking photographs is a really pure activity - I don't overthink, which is so rare. It's nice. :)

I don't think fried okra is bad. If you thought that was horrifing, you'd have DIED from *boiled* okra. *g*

(Not really, but I'm sure he would think he deserves them!)
