The Buffy Season 8 comics started coming out in March 2007 and I never read them, so I had well over a year's worth of comics to catch up on. I remember squeeing a long, high-pitched squee when I saw that. And now, I want a comic!Doctor and Rose!icon.

I think I stopped reading about ep 12 or so. Might pick it back up. *shrugs*

If you do pick it back up, I recommend waiting for the omnibus editions to come out, or at least collecting several issues and waiting to read them all at once. I think it's a much more rewarding way to do it. I have a hard time staying involved in stories that I can't mainline, which I guess is why I only read comics about once a year (even though I buy them every month).

And now, I want a comic!Doctor and Rose!icon

Hmm, I might actually be able to do that. I made the scans myself, so I have the originals. It wouldn't be photoshopped or anything, but let me give it a try!

Is that Wesley or Giles? I can't tell who's who in these things.

Would love if it were Wesley. Because he's not dead.

Oh, hmm. I hadn't thought of the possibility it might be Wesley! The speech bubble coming from the window above is Giles, so it's not him. The girl can't be Buffy, because according to the storyline she was in Scotland at the time. It's London, so I really think it's just supposed to suggest the Doctor and Rose Tyler randomly passing by, and (just guessing) the artist couldn't make the phone box blue because of copyright issues and maybe because it would be too blatant.

There are a bunch of Angel comics out that I haven't read yet, and I have been curious to see if Wesley is in any of them! I would be happy.

No, I meant in the other panels you linked to, which seem to take place in a library, with someone talking to Faith.

Oh, right, sorry. Yes, the Watcher in the library talking to Faith is Giles.
