  1. Oh y'all. I looked through this in the bookstore yesterday... maybe really shouldn't have. It's a lovely book though. How the photographer came home without a baby is beyond me. Heck, how *I* came home without a baby is beyond me. Eh, I'm sure it had something to do with the being 25 and having an overabundance of other drama at the time. ::still ( Read more... )

*jumping in* Bit has yet to compile her "Jim Halpert is Awesome" list. If she doesn't post soon, I'mma do it for her. Though I should wait, because Bit is awesome, and any list of hers will be, too.

And, awww. I love Phyllis. I read a really good fic that focused on her, but I can't remember what it was. I'll look around, though, if you're interested.

There's Office fic? Silly me, of course there is. I'd love to read a Phyllis fic if you find it!

Huh. Now I kind of want to look for Angela POV fic. (Though one of the things I love about Angela and Angela/Dwight is that everything is told so incidentally, as the camera happens to catch a few seconds here and there.)

I'm still working on the list! I'm saving it to post just before the premiere, hopefully with pictures, so everyone can be all caught up and bursting with love for Jim when we see the fall out from Casino Night. And actually, I was going to post asking for suggestions just like yours, to make sure it was totally inclusive. So I'll get on that first, then post as complete a look at Jim as is possible.

::sigh:: Jim is so great. But he's got flaws, for which I love him still more.

Excellent idea! I'm looking forward to it.

Casino Night. Man, now I'm getting nervous. This show has officially moved into the category of Television That Can Give Me a Stomachache. Which is a compliment to the show, of course. Heh.

Hey, I just noticed your icon! And now I realize there must have been pictures of the Office folks from *after* the Emmys. Do you happen to have links to any of that? It takes me hours to browse for photos on dialup, bleh.

Let me give you my comprehensive list of Office links.

The Office on LJ - This is my own friends filter of Office communities I belong to. I get most of my info/pic/icons/fic/etc. through these. Communities include jenna_fischer, john_krasinski, jim_and_pam, office_fanworks, theoffice_fic, theoffice_icons, theoffice_us and scranton_times (this last one is indispensible.)

More Than That - Mostly Jim and Pam, but a good source for fanfic and pictures (you can probably find all the Emmy pics there.)

Office Tally - A comprehensive fansite. Well run and organised, spoilers are always clearly marked.

Northern Attack - Office forums.

Jenna Fischer's MySpace - She's adorable.

Angela Kinsey's MySpace - Also adorable. You can find links to other Office MySpacers at both Jenna and Angela's pages.

Sparklies Galleries - This is the main page, but I know they have a huge post of Emmy pics in there somewhere, as well as actor pages.

Specific pics:

Office Season 3 promo shots - Just cast/actor shots, not from eps, so not spoilery.

Office Cast in People Magazine - This is a scan from this week's People, and it's the picture my icon is from. ( ... )

Oh my goodness, that book! *clutches heart* It does help remind me, though, that even though we aren't going to have any more kids biologically - which still makes me sad - if we ever decide to have a bigger family, there is no shortage of kids to help fill out our family.

And there are so, so many children out there who would need you too and be lucky to have you!

My parents started the adoption process when I was in junior high. They were looking at high-risk kids from the state system. I've always wished the state hadn't made it so hard for people who live so far from the capital, and that my parents had followed through. (My dad leaving for Desert Storm kind of derailed it for good.) I would have loved to have had more siblings.

1. Seriously. It's not just the child-substitute thing, I think I have reached the point where I'm ready for another dog. The leaving it home alone in the apartment all day is probably the main thing stopping me, too. (Paying another pet deposit would suck, but if I wanted it enough I could do it.)

What kind of puppydog would you get?

2.
I don't know what this is about, but I would be there to celebrate this former colleague Phillip and his passport photo! You can count on me. =)passport photo = headshot... Phillip... a mixed drink featuring vodka and orange juice ( ... )
