Sorry about these driveby posts.  I'm not commenting much, but I am actually reading my flist pretty often.

Well, Tickled Pink was fun. ( I could have given them some tips on the Buffy section, but Renee O'Connell has totally deciphered Willow and Tara's ingenius code. )

Oh man, Renee O'Connor!

I love her so much. She's exactly the right person to show this kind of clip to, also, as Xena perfected the art of the not-so-subtle subtext, pretty much.

This reminds me of an audio commentary discussion about Renee's haircut in Season 4 and Lucy was basically like "the fans didn't approve because it made you look like so butch" and she was all horrified: "I'm not butch. Gabrielle's not butch! She's a poet. YOU WORE LEATHER." Ten minutes later. "Did they really think I looked butch?"

*loves on her*

Hee. I was totally thinking of you with this post. You would have enjoyed the Xena and Buffy sections. And actually, that Xena producer talked all through the show.

"I'm not butch. Gabrielle's not butch! She's a poet. YOU WORE LEATHER." Ten minutes later. "Did they really think I looked butch?"

That's so cute! I'm starting to love her too. First that Bruce Campbell movie, then this...

TV Guide gave some high praises to Double Date (the upcoming JLU episode with Huntress & Black Canary.) I've been looking forward to it for a long time, since it kept getting bumped on the schedule. Morena did a great job in The Cat and The Canary, plus the episode is bringing in Green Arrow & The Question, who have both been really excellent. Jeffery Combs does The Question, and he's just awesome (as he is on his two thousand Star Trek roles). I don't know Kin Shriner, but he's just nailed Green Arrow. Pitch Perfect. I hear he showed up to the recording studio in costume, and worked out so he could go to conventions and not be a disappointment.
