I'm debating. The nookbook would be more convenient to carry and read, but I know if I like the book I'll want to buy the hard copy. Novels are one thing, but when I'm reading nonfiction history & science, I like flipping back, referring to previous chapters, which is easier with paper. I like that you're thinking about your indy bookstore. :)
