I really understand what you mean about a non-lap dog. Except for early morning when he first wakes up, Memphis *rarely* gets on or near my lap. I've been surprised at how snuggly he's been for the past few days, and I suspect it's because it's so cold in the apartment. It's possible it could be something about him changing with time, but I'll have to wait for hot weather to see! (I'd say turn the heat way down in your house, but a) your suggies wouldn't like it and b) Kaiya has such a nice thick coat!)
