Stuart McLean is a great storyteller. I don't listen to the Vinyl Cafe podcasts regularly, but when I do listen, I always discover that it was the right thing to do.

Thanks for the links. I've heard some of these, but not all. Is "Christmas at the Turlingtons" the one where the kids' punch is spiked?

Heh, the spiked kids' punch sounds funny! That's not in "Christmas at the Turlingtons" though -- but there is a mishap with alcohol. And another with candles. *g* I also loved Let It Snow, which was from a couple of weeks before, and also involves the Turlingtons eventually.

I can't remember, did you tell me you've been to see the show? I'd love to go sometime if I'm ever up north where they're touring.
