I was falling asleep while walking back across campus to my office for lunch. Let's hope this super duper healthy smoothie picks me up, because there's another three hours to go, and it mostly consists of "What time do you have breakfast?" I will never look at sunflowers in quite the same way again, that's for sure. And those are beautiful.

Yes! I know what you mean. I've been fascinated with them ever since I picked up a camera - they are a juxtaposition of complex patterns and more free curves and angles - so they're beautiful, and, as someone said recently, a challenge.

He's the only animal in the zoo that you can pet, too. :) The wall to the tortoise enclosure is really low, and there are no signs about not touching. I've seen children patting him, and he seemed to enjoy it.
