Snow Day

I spent about half of the weekend in my bed, partly because it's the warmest place, and partly because it just wasn't doing me any good to get out of it. I never do anything in my bed except sleep, so snuggling up in there with my cat and my netbook and a card table with a pot of tea set up next to me felt very decadent

Well, anything can be pretty if you catch it from the right angle. *g* But this picture shows some of the messier bits. I've also got a picture, not uploaded yet, of a woman trying to kick slushy snow out from under her car because she got stuck in it trying to turn left across the road.

Love your snowman. The floppy hat and cozy scarf make it just perfect.

Seeing your snow makes me feel a little guilty for all our current sunshine and the start of flowers blooming.

Oh, don't feel guilty on my account! I never get enough snow to be tired of it, so I'm happy. And we'll have flowers soon enough. I feel bad for the folks who are getting tired of winter though!

Heh, yes, I remember all the troubles with grit (or lack of it)! When we don't get this very often, we just have more trouble dealing with it. I feel silly having a snow day when there are folks on the US east coast right now dealing with multiple *feet* of snow. But! Fun while it lasts. :)

Thank you. :) I think the rain later in the day destroyed it, and now it's an ice-encrusted white couple of lumps by the bus stop, but it was fun and up for long enough to take a picture!
