Unpredictable tastes

The Christmas pudding went up in flames! \o/ And to my surprise, most people tried it and didn't spit it out, and my mom said sincerely that she wants me to make it every year. I thought it was delicious, especially with the brandy butter. Low expectations ftw! On the other hand, no one but my parents and me had any noodle kugel. I don't know why,

I love noodle kugel! If I'd been there I would have eaten everyone's portions. (I've never liked Christmas pudding, though, so apparently even I am not perfect. *g*)

I am a bad Jew and don't like noodle kugel. Potato or matzoh meal kugel on the other hand.... YUM!
