What happened to the journals!?? Do they catch on fire like this a lot? Oh no, do I need to carry a bucket of water with me??

They seem to only catch fire if you say something someone important doesn't like. Carry a bucket of water only if you plan to start fires.

Something I shouldn't say? I don't think I'm saying anything I shouldn't...

As long as someone doesn't start inking over your stuff, I think you're in the clear...

You and water don't mix so hot, Fullmetal. So I wouldn't suggest that, you know?

But yeah, as far as I'm concerned -- the whole thing with it catching on fire? It kind of goes hand in hand with folks talking about things "that they shouldn't".

Haha, you're right about the water. Although just a small amount probably won't kill me...

Would it?

Um, I don't think so, Fullmetal, so no. Though, I wouldn't hazard it -- you know?

Right, I'm sure it won't kill me either! Well, maybe it could...

Crow told me to just throw the journal on the ground if it catches fire, so I'll just do that. Although, I hope I won't say anything that makes it happen...

I would suggest just dropping the journal if it catches fire again, Fullmetal-san. Most likely a bucket of water is unnecessary.

Oh yeah, I didn't think of that. Although, I'm not sure that the fire can hurt me either way...

Then you have nothing to worry about, as far as flaming journals go, I suppose.

That would make your journal all soggy.

rustyarmor July 5 2008, 21:07:24 UTC
Ah! That's true! Then it would be useless, I guess.

Until you dried it out, but then the pages would be all wrinkly...

Oh, I guess you don't like wrinkly things then?

By the way, I'm Fullmetal, nice to meet you!!

[ooc: after Nova has read the above replies]

Saying something you're not supposed to--it's ridiculous! Why do we get journals in the first place then??

M-maybe one of the higher-ups is mad?? Would that be Mr. Fugue??

Reply

novagravitation July 5 2008, 21:10:39 UTC
Higher-ups?? To think that there are higher-ups here, although I suppose there must be, since we're all born here with past lives we don't know it--

OH, it just sounds so evil that way.

And this Fugue. All sorts of people talk about him, but I've never met him and he's never talked to me! Who is he??

M-Mr. Fugue was the one who welcomed me to Edensphere, but I don't think he's a bad person. Well, he seemed a little vague when we asked questions, but... I'm sure that's just his personality.

Actually, I don't know if Mr. Fugue is a "higher-up" or not, but since he welcomed me here, I thought he might be important.
