OH! Get me a couple of tees! Anything cool, and, well, black, or dark-I know, this is possibly gross/tmi, but if there is a color there that if you spilled water on it, would show as a big, wet mark, don't get it (that's what big, fat, sweaty people have to worry about, thankyouverymuch...). XL to wear and *if* they sell XXL, I'd take that for working out in. We can take it off the D*C hotel tab!

I got you a pretty XL tour shirt... it's black with a red design. $30. (It's one I was coveting for myself, but I can't spend so much on AIC merch or my entire wardrobe will be AIC shirts!)
"this is what Lymond always does... tries to take all the pain onto himself and protect those he loves... but since they don't know what he's doing he tends to drive them crazy."
Yep. That sums him up. It's tough when everything in your life has taughter you that yes, you ARE in fact probably smarter and tougher than everybody else and you probably DO have to do it all yourself. Even if it isn't really true.
I started with Pawn in Frankincense the first time from the library years ago and then read backward and around, and it's still my favorite volume.
OT question :DtxvoodooOctober 1 2007, 02:08:14 UTC
Hey hon - a friend got tickets for Colbert and is confused - I mentioned that you had gone to some tapings, and she asked if I'd ask you this:
"did she get her tickets mailed to her, or do they just hand them out at the studio?
I'm trying to figure out what they are doing, because even though I got an email asking me to confirm (which I did, because then I got that other message I copied in the other thread), I was looking at tds_tcr_standby and apparently they will send another email out? "

Hey!
I never had physical tickets--I just brought email printouts.
I can't remember if I got a final confirmation from them after I did my confirmation, but if I did it was only a few days before the show. Either way, I didn't even need the printouts; they had my name on a list and they checked me off.
So it sounds like you'll be fine as long as you did your confirmation part... how long away is the show?
