Yay! Marsters Wank!

Christmas has come early! It's Marsters wank! Here, here, here, and here.

I'm at least as amused by all the fangirls jumping to defend poor, misunderstood James as I am by the king of pretentious cluelessness, Marsters himself.

Last night's Sean Bean movie was A Woman's Guide to Adultery. I got through a half hour, then I had to fast ( Read more... )

Did I miss other wank? Marsters wank is the best. :) Well, except for Harry Potter wank; between Snape, Harmoanians, and BNFs, it pretty much wins at wank.

Since I was raised Methodist, crazy Christian cracks do sting a little bit.

But I never mistook Marsters for a genius, or for a personal friend. If he wants to post silly shit on his website, whatever.

I just find it amazing that enough people still care enough about him to notice this. I guess I'm much more fickle when it comes to my fannish interests.

Yeah, the movie was crap. He was fine; he did his best given the pointlessness of his character.

I saw "Brave Two Zero." I figured out afterward that it was based on a true story, which must explain why there wasn't really much of a "plot," just a depressing thing that happened. I think the recent prominence of torture in the news has killed a lot of the h/c enjoyment I might've otherwise gotten from that film. It left me feeling miserable and wanting to cry.

"The Big Empty"--is that good? I'll move it up in my queue.

Yes! Loan me the ones that Netflix doesn't have! Please? :) Of course we have to actually see each other to do that... *hint* *hint*.

The first Dalton movie wasn't half bad. The second... wasn't either. More like 3/4ths. Maybe more.

I must be the only person in the world who liked "License to Kill" best of the Dalton movies. Weird. And I never expected to like them at all!

The front was too Magnum PI (although the scene in the Hemmingway house? Cool); the pilot Bond girl, even by Bond girl standards, would be stuck forever in any paper back she had to act her way through; the final chase was washed out and dragged on too long; and all the interior sets in faux-Panama were too Dynasty for words. Plus, the continuing issue that to make it a Bond problem you should really make it a Britain problem, not a USA problem.

And he lost that license a third of the way in.

Other than that, and Wayne Newton, it was ... passable.

HAHAHAHAHA. Thank you so much for bringing the awesome wank to my attention. Marsters is a moron, and the fans are funny! How's that for alliteration? (Also, just a gentle FYI, the second link, to spikesfool's LJ, is NSFW. Meep!)
