Well, I voted. Now I officially have the right to complain about whatever happens.

Last night's Sean Bean movie was Essex Boys. Sean plays an incredibly creepy criminal; it's a testament to his acting ability that I was thoroughly convinced by the creepiness. He was still hot, at least, which made the movie somewhat enjoyable. Overall it was ( Read more... )

Yeah, Essex Boys is definitely not the feel-good movie of the year, that's for sure. I felt like I needed a shower after that rape-to-death scene. With a wire brush. But he's always so good, even when he's bad...

It's true; he's such an amazing actor. And so very, very attractive.

I think this was the first movie where I actually wasn't rooting for his character. I was totally on board with the terrorist in "Patriot Games" and the supervillain in "GoldenEye," but I suppose rape/murder crosses some kind of moral line for me (who knew?).

And yet still, he played the character with such depth. (*adores Sean Bean*)
