I went to the theater to see the first "restored" movie and never went back. Never bothered with the DVDs. These, though, will get bought.

Hee. Pretty much the same here. Well, I saw all three in the theater, with more agony each time. When Luke shrieked as he fell in ESB... well, that was the end. I wouldn't have accepted those "special edition" DVDs if you PAID me.

But these--hell yeah, they'll get bought. I'm so glad I won't have to depend on my ancient VHS tapes forever. Star Wars (the REAL Star Wars) is part of my history and my self, and none of the bullshit George Lucas pulls now can change that.

God, I hope these fucking outsell the others my millions. Of course, they won't with limited release. Maybe I should buy an extra set...
