I met GRRM at TorCon in Toronto - three years ago. He used to be one of the producers of 'Beauty and the Beast', the tv show, and he had two long q&as, both discussing the episodes he wrote. He was *awesome* - very funny, bright - and I loved getting the background on the episodes.
