Thank you so much rusty_armour for creating this gorgeous card for me (instead of pinching it from the Internet as I do!) and for the good wishes. Jason is lovely and the little cats with the cupcake are cute! Much appreciated!

Happy Birthday, karen9! :-D I'm so glad you like the card. I've always liked that picture of Jason, and I was lucky enough to find that cute clipart with the cats and the birthday cake when I wanted to add a little something to the card. I have PaintShop Pro, so it's easy enough for me to create a birthday card, especially if I know a friend's interests. I've also grabbed images from the Internet for friends with birthdays, so I've done my fair share of pinching too. *g* I don't think there's anything wrong with finding an image online. Yes, I also like that picture of Jason - his eyes are warm and mischievous! I haven't even tried PaintShop, which is very slack of me. I liked that card for avictoriangirl. So many Victorian images of cats are rather grisly.

I'm glad you are working. When my sister first moved to the UK, she worked as a supply teacher for quite some time. It is a demanding job. How are you finding it?

Yes, I think it's his eyes that draw me in. I think this photo really captures who Jason is.

No, I wouldn't say it was slack of you. I only have PaintShop because a friend gave me a copy several years ago. To be honest, I'm amazed that it still works. I think I've managed to save it on at least three different computers, which really surprises me. I could try sending you a copy if you're interested. I believe that you can also access free programs that are similar to PaintShop online.

To be honest, it's been pretty stressful and overwhelming, but I'm saying this after a week in which I had to teach two full days of classes. The first full day wasn't even supposed to be a full day. I was only supposed to teach two morning classes (which ( ... )
