Hilarious! I adored the reference to Norton’s Anthology! I LOL! I bet that’s not the first time one has been used as a weapon!
LOL! I'm sure it's not the first time a Norton's Anthology has been used as a weapon! *g* I almost went with the Oxford English Dictionary, but a Norton's Anthology seemed funnier somehow.
Holy cow those Antons are freaky looking! Stuff of nightmares!
Yes, I think they've held up surprisingly well (unlike some other Doctor Who monsters/villains). They must have freaked out Russell T. Davies when he was a child because they were the very first Doctor Who creature to be featured in New Who (in the very first episode, no less).
Celery sniffing?
Oh, that never actually happened on the show. It was just being used as an insult because the Fifth Doctor wore celery on the lapel of his jacket.
“...” Heeeeeeeeeeeeee. I love that bit!
The tribble popped into my brain when I was trying to think of who could confirm what the Fifth Doctor had said. I have to admit that I was very amused when I thought of it.
Wow! What a great episode of Action Figure Theatre. And how gratifying that Paper-5 got a leading role! Love the gratuitous Tribble needing to get its 2 cents in -- LOL! And all those tomes stacked up behind 5 -- ominous foreshadowing!
I love these Action Figure stories, rusty_armour and I really enjoyed this one.
That's a handsome Fifth Doctor you have there. No wonder the tenth is jealous! He shouldn't insult your flat!
I like the reference to the Norton anthology and "tome" as a verb (I'm also an English major.)
There's lots of great parts, e.g., the two Masters: "We get to wear a frock," the Tenth Doctor storming "off as best he could across rusty_armour’s legs and the futon," the Tribble.
I like that Canadians are able to laugh at themselves. Right now I think Americans can only cry.

That's such a kind thing to say, karen9! Thank you very much! :-D I'm so glad you enjoyed this latest insane adventure!

Yes, the paper cut-out version of the Fifth Doctor is surprisingly handsome! You could be right about that being the reason for the Tenth Doctor's jealousy! ;-)
He shouldn't insult your flat!
Well...it is fairly insult-worthy if I'm going to be honest... *g*

I'm glad you were amused by the reference to the Norton anthology and Sheppard's use of "tome" as a verb. I'm not at all surprised that you're an English major. :-)

I don't think Canadians should have an inferiority complex. Canadians are well thought-of in the rest of the English-speaking world. You seem to be sane, compassionate and peaceful people. Our impression is that Canada and New Zealand are the best countries in the world!
That's very kind of you to say. Yes, thankfully, Canadians do seem to have a good reputation in other parts of the world. And the same with New Zealanders -- as you pointed out. :-)
I was being rather harsh with the whole inferiority complex thing. I think Canadians feel a lot more pride in their country and national identity than they used it. We may still struggle over defining who and what we are sometimes, but it's better than it used to be. :-)
