Some Additional Stalky Screencaps

May 18, 2016 20:33

I created a ton of screencaps from the Stalky & Co. DVD, many of which didn't make it into my review. I thought some of you might appreciate it if I shared the most flattering of the Robert Addie screencaps here. If you don't then you're an ass, a putrid ass. *g* ( Cough it up, ducky. )

Aw, he's beautiful. I still haven't managed to order the DVD, but I've been too busy with the 17th of May etc , and yes I was on tv, although only briefly, together with the rest of my band.

Love the screencaps !

I'm glad you think so. I was pleasantly surprised by just how beautiful he looks in the series. :-)

Well, I think you've had an excellent excuse for not ordering the DVD yet considering how busy you've been! Congratulations for being on TV (even if it was briefly) with your band! That's very exciting! :-D

Love the screencaps !

I thought you would. :-)

Excellent screencaps, thank you. These show an awesome range of Stalky's moods and expressions. The first is a bit Woosterish; the sixth is rather touchingly pensive and sad (and pretty!). I also like the one where he and M'Turk are clinking tea cups. And the clothes! What kind of hats are those in the last pic, do you know?

Yes, perhaps that first one shouldn't be described as "flattering," but I cracked up when I first saw the screencap and had to include it in this post. Robert Addie actually ends up making three or four amusing faces in reaction to Prout's lecture, including some very good eye-rolling. The sixth one is from "The Moral Reformers". I think it's when he finds out that Beetle has lost Clewer and they don't know where he is and whether he's fallen into the hands of the bullies.

Yes, that's also a favourite of mine. It's a beautiful shot. :-)

Stalky's hat looks a bit like a cross between a top hat and a bowler I agree!
