Title: It's Tradition
Prompt: Trick or Treat
Rating: PG-13 for suggestive content?
Notes: There is a poem in it? But I actually wrote a drabble for once! GO ME!
Trick or Treat
Smell my feet
"Why on earth would you force someone to smell your feet? Is this some strange American custom I am not aware of?"
"It was probably made up by a ten year old. It rhymes, that's all that matters."
"If this is the caliber of your poetry, then perhaps you shouldn't write anymore, da?"
"Oh ha ha. Are you going to let me finish?"
"Very well. Continue."
Give me something good to eat
"Ah, asking for the treat? I suppose the trick part comes next."
If you don't, I don't care
I'll pull down your underwear.
"..."
"You're awful quiet. No response?"
"I am trying to picture this. Do your children go around pulling down each others' pants if they don't receive a treat?"
"You are taking this waaaaay too literally, man."
"And I fear for the state of your children."
"My children are just fine thanks. They're raised on freedom and democracy, the best there is."
"And apparently sing lewd songs on a cold night while going around door to door dressed like monsters and begging for candy."
"I think someone's upset they never did it as a child."
"No, I am not. However, I will admit I'd very much like a treat now."
"And if you don't get it?"
"Then perhaps it would be good to follow the song, da?"
"... I don't have a treat."
"I was hoping you would say that."
Again, waaaay too much fun. Did anyone else sing this as a kid? I certainly remember doing so!
