The 2012 NW Pinball and Arcade Show
It's interesting how much more enthusiasm there seems to be for pinball these days, in comparison to classic arcade games. Supporting hobbyists who restore old pinball machines was a major purpose of this event.
I also have to say how surprised I was by my experience of going around this convention and replaying all of the old arcade games from my youth: although it brought back memories to see them again, none of the games themselves struck me as being that much fun to play any more, even though I still enjoy their modern equivalents from time to time.
