lol Jeff is the cook in our duo. I just help him. I can see how he loves it though, he sees it as an adventure - you never know what's going to happen at the end. It could be amazing, it could be disgusting ... but the journey there together was the most important.
actually there is such a thing as too much in a meal .. though usually it's one ingredient in proportion to the rest xD
I am convinced that men are generally better cooks. Look at all the best chefs! Almost all of them wear pants :) but the journey there together was the most important true...
I've actually heard that the reason why men tend to excel in certain areas that they specialize in is because they have the ability to focus completely on it. That's why most chefs are men - it's one thing, cooking - and they just completely focus on it.
It's amazing how we learn to like things more and more as we grow older (-: I suspect it is one of the aspects of something they call wisdom. At least I hope so :)
I was so sure there had been absolutely no hope for me. And look what's happened. Sometimes I talk to my mirror reflection (and see that creature in cooking apron) 'Hey, girl, what has become of you, eh?' :)
...and there's always another hope - of having enough money to afford perpetual dining out. Don't give up on that one :)
I know! There's something tiring about looking up recipes. It feel like some have-to-do school research... and bores me! Sometimes I just give up and do some cooking impromptu instead :)
Hey, nice to see you here again! You know when a year ago I stated this blog yours was a source of inspiration for me as an example of great English skills obtained by non-native speaker! I am truly glad to see you around again.
And I hope that one day you'll find more opportunities and time to enjoy cooking.
