And Guri shakes his wings out with a sunny grin, breathing deep of peace. "Man, I haven't been to Iona in way too long. Since . . . I think it was 1943 the last time I was here."

"Yeah?" Ben looks interestedly around, although he's practically bludgeoned by the peace and might stagger juuuust a little. "Doesn't look like it's changed much."

[guriel]

"Iona doesn't. Not her heart, anyway." Guriel stretches his wings out to their full width, feathers catching the winter sunlight. "Janni's got you a room all settled by now, I'd imagine."

"She's efficient that way. Maybe we should just follow the pie smells..." His nostrils flare. "Yeah, this way." And he heads off determinedly.
