Hee, awesome! I thought the dialogue came through really well - even though I don't know Six or Peri, their voices reminded me of other episodes of Old!Who that I've seen. And the description also worked well, again creating the right atmosphere. Loved Owen's perceptions and beliefs about the Doctor.

Thanks! I'm particularly proud of the dialogue -mine tends to be a bit hit and miss- and I assumed that Owen would at least know of the official Torchwood position on the Doctor, even if he doesn't quite know which Doctor it is.

I'm also trying to come to turns with the fact that Ten was the one that provoked Victoria into creating Torchwood, but the earlier Doctors have never met them (and in Three's case, having been stranded on Earth, you'd really think that he would).

Although...I don't think that Owen knows that the Doctor that Jack and Martha met is the last of his species (although I'm holding out for Romana and the Rani to show up and show him how wrong that assumption is). If he did...that could be quite an interesting complication.

...I'm doing one of my boring geeky rambles again, aren't I? :D *will stop*

I thought that was a really good way of doing it - having Torchwood not set up yet - rather than trying to retcon all of Old!Who. And it gets across the rather brain-hurt-y nature of Doctor Who's continuity XD

No, I reckon Owen wouldn't know that... unless Jack had said something? Or unless Queen Victoria knew and had it passed down in Torchwood lore XD

Maybe they did exist at that point, but because they were looking for David Tennant's Doctor -as the only person that would know better would be Jack, and he's not telling- they wrote off the other Doctors as fake and didn't confront them. :D

No, Jack keeps his secrets and I doubt that Victoria ever knew, seeing as how she was too busy fighting for her life. It was just an interesting concept to consider, particularly as Five and Six did get recalled to Gallifrey a lot and most of their episodes involved sinister Time Lord conspiracies.

Oh, that was really rather awesome! I love Owen instantly flirting with Peri and Six's blattering about how if he forgets and asks Owen questions, Owen needs to remember not to answer! :D You know, I could really see Owen fitting into the Sixth Doctor's TARDIS somehow ...

And "Hee" about him liking the 1960s! :D

Someone needs to tell Owen that Peri's twenty (or so) years older than him in non-'timey wimey ball' time. I doubt that he'd care so much, since he's used to dating random women from other time periods, but...

There isn't much that Owen could say to Six that would disturb everything, but he could mention Canary Wharf. That would get Six's attention. As could the fact that Peri actually never returned to Earth permanently and therefore has had an unsolved police case file regarding her mysterious disappearance at Torchwood for over 20 years. ...Actually, I wouldn't mind writing that fic. *scribbles*

He's snarky, bright and not particularly affectionate. He's the perfect companion for Six (who is also snarky, bright and rarely affectionate). :D

...How else would you explain that coat? *shot*

I suspect Owen is unworried by timey-wimey ball. :D

That's a really cool idea, about Peri's missing person file. I wonder if Owen would remmeber her name.

*laughs* Maybe the Doctor is ... is ... slightly colour-blind? :D
