Polyester chafed as he walked in figure eights

Biked to Mt. Vernon today. And back. It was a beautiful day and very still but it felt to me like the wind was blowing anywhere from 7 to 23 miles per hour, all the time. The cars were zooming by. That was probably the biggest bummer. They make a biker feel like he's going slow when really he's flyin'! Man I covered 44 miles today, I couldn't walk

That sound the truckers make is likely the jake brake. It is an extra brake big trucks have that utilizes reverse compression of the engine. They prefer the jake brake because it makes the real brake last longer.

pretty sure it wasn't that, as that is really loud and this wasn't. maybe it was something to do with enabling the jake brake...maybe.
