Today was early shift at work, which means 9 am I had to be out of bed and at the library (late shift is 10 am.) It also meant that I theoretically get off at 6 pm

That is a beautiful piece. I really like the use of color and the way the angel is reaching for the rising sun.

The concept originally was that the angel was the one who was responsible for making the sun rise - I remember reading somewhere that there's a belief that every little blade of grass has its own angel whispering, "grow, grow" to it.

I spent today finishing up presents to send out. At least I can mail them tomorrow (if I can find somewhere to mail them from.)
