It's the best explanation I can come up with, that this place is like the Spirit World and the Digimon here are like spirits. People talk about all this other stuff involving machines like the D-Comms, but I get the feeling I'd have to learn a lot more about where they are from for it to make any sense. Which... I don't mind that, but not just to know what's going on.
