I checked through parts VI and VII first of all. I want to go back and see all the photos.

This is an excellent post. It is sad but very interesting. You never know what you are going to find.

I've been following this since the first installment.

This is heartbreaking. It's like we all knew it would happen - someday - but when it does happen that doesn't make it any easier.

It's like even though I know it's impossible I want these things to never go away, to stay there forever, rundown and covered in greenery.

Be glad you documented it so well.

It's the catch-22 of being interested in things like this I suppose; we know that there will come a day when it will be razed, burned, or it'll fall under it's own weight. The thing we love about them so much - the decay, the creeping vegetation, and the lengthy state of abandonment - is the evidence of its certain demise at some point in the future.

In part III the picture with the beer can in the window. It looks like there's a ghost in the open door way all the way to the right.
