..because they are fun :)
a week back i played around with my dad's white collared long sleeved shirt. the original plan was to wear it as a slouchy shirtdress, cinched at the waist with a belt, but alas it was too short. so i did a marc jacobs take on my "big loose" shirt instead..
inspiration:
my outfit:
white shirt - Van Heusen men's size 15 & a 1/2 (39cm)
navy culottes - secret source (shhhh it's actually part of a uniform :X)
leather obi belt - far east plaza, $35
red patent pointy heels - tinkerbelle exclusive, $29.90
closeup of shirt:
sideview of culottes:
you'll notice the collar of the shirt is asymmetrical. that's because i buttoned the buttons one hole down from their original positions. i love asymmetry. there's also a practical reason -- this method of buttoning makes the shirt tighter.
bag to carry with this outfit:
clutch - pierre cardin, $109
some days you wonder if a d&d dress is really worth your money when you can only ever wear it a few times in your life. and then one day while looking through archives of runway collections, suddenly creativity hits you bam! and you'll say, why didn't i ever think of that?

white sleeveless top - mango, has cap sleeves which i folded in, $18
#2 can you tell i heart big loose shirts?
white collared shirt, unbuttoned, panels folded back and wrapped one over the other - brandless. something i found in the wardrobe. suspect it's part of some uniform.. again
