I saw and tried it yesterday at the Bugis's branch. It retails for $39.90...But the back is smocked and so it puffs up when buttoned. It looks weird in my opinion. Plus, I prefer the adjusting thingy at the back. It looks more professional somehow :)
haha true! but they fit my friends pretty well so I guess it depends! I bought a vest from a vintage shop in Japan (but its a male one) with the adjusty thingy and it looks more ex I understand! Maybe you should try the zara ones then, I'm not sure but i think it has the adjusty thingy behind ;)
love the skinny jeans! if only they'd been.. uh. skinnier at the thigh area though - they'd be a great buy :) im on the lookout for CHEAP hot pink skinnies myself, after seeing charmystique and (would you believe it) this guy at orchard in them.
my last great read was this book called 'This Is Not A Love Song' by Sarabeth Purcell; you can also try authors like Matt Thorne or Scarlett Thomas if you like offbeat stuff too.
and okay this is a really long comment, just two more things: i like both the tops and for some reason ive really been looking forward to seeing a post from you, haha x)
HAHAHA. Omy, this is embarrassing. I'm not sure if its a compliment or not but I choose to take it as it is :) HAH. Must be my brutally honest long-winded comments I leave on other's posts. Rightomomo?
And I have to agree with you on the yellow skinnies!!! I wished it were more fitting at the thighs. The calves were perfect. Even the length. It scrunches up at the ankles the way I like it.
I thought I saw some hot pink skinnies at Topshop! But they're shorter and more expensive (retails $106 or $109 I think) Def. not cheap. Cheap is hard to find... :(
Thanks for the recommendations! I'll go look for them :) I have been recently reading Haruki M. and its like Salvadore Dali's paintings, only in print. HAHA. Surreal.
Rightomomo! seriously, it IS a compliment - i think you're interesting and on online communities, interesting is always good :]
haha i have a feeling we might have similar taste in books; i rarely like reading anything that's too "real", i dont like outright fantasy/sci-fi stuff, just light unbelievability if you know what i mean. haha and when all else fails i stake out the magazine racks.
i'd hunt arnd Bugis Street for coloured skinnies except the length is never quite right and like you, i want them scrunched at the ankles which means extra length. grrrr
My sister just gave me 'one-eye big, one-eye small' on the Rightomomo word just only. HAHAHAHA. I'm weird like that.
Once again, thank yew for the compliment. *blushinggg
And yes, I think we've pretty similar tastes in books and...interestingly, skinnyjeans! I didn't know Bugis has coloured ones?! I know they do have that obiang checkered ones that most Ahlians wear...which I totally abhor and wish they be taken off the racks the sooner the better. LOL.
:D Yay yay, new friend! We're interestingly similar! :D
Yeah la. Why liddat arh? It's weird ain't it? Then again, our children, and children's children (meaning, our grandchildren) will look to our bags now as vintage in about donkey years time too! :D
