She really is! I had a friend in high school who just loved her and I never really paid her any mind. And then today I decided to do a search of her images and was just wowed.

I remember reading a biography on her life back in high school (long time ago) and was amazed at her life. My daughter has curly blonde hair and a beauty mark in the same place. I shall lock her away in about 2 years, kiddin. But, yeah ...

She did seem to cram a lot of living into the short time she was here. Not all of it was good, but she definitely experienced life.

She waaaaaaas. And she had a certain appeal beyond her looks. Lindsay Lohan tried to imitate some of her pictures a year and a half ago and they kept popping up in my search and every time, they stuck out like a sore thumb. I think Lindsay is beautiful, but she doesn't have whatever that quality~ is that Marilyn had that made her seem playful and sexy at the same time. *sigh sigh*
