seriously? I seem to have liked it when I was visiting last fall. It's just so tough figuring it out...like where should I go where so I look...etc etc
Yes, seriously! I love Silver Lake, and also Los Feliz. There are also some great deals to be had in Glendale. A lot of people complain about it being "too far" but I think that's BS.
It is tough to figure out a place to land there... when I first moved there I lived in Studio City. It was a great place to start out, but I only stayed there a year. Once I figured out the other neighborhoods, there were much better options. But it is convenient.
Yeah! We stayed in Echo Park and that was pretty rough at times, but still REALLY pretty.
I like Silverlake because it was more artsy and seemed to have more interesting things to do. Loz Feliz was cool too. I concidered Pasadena for a bit because it's so cute. It reminds me of Ann Arbor, but it's a hike during peak hours in my opinion. My Aunt thinks I should look at Eagle Rock but once again that seems a bit outside of the loop and it's kinda dirty.
I dont know...Im really thinking now that you made a few suggestions, that I will continue looking in the silverlake/loz feliz area.
I really think a lot will be determined on where I can find a reasonable studio share. god there's so much to do!
