Yeah, sure, Evan's a commie pinko liberal elitist intellectual snob. And he lives out in the middle of nowhere. But he had a great post on his blog about how PETA euthanizes over 90% of the animals it gets.

Runo Knows...Demon
Demon is the final book in the Gaia trilogy.
Gaia herself has gone completely insane by this point. Cast down as the wizard, Rocky is now the Demon, and the one that Gaia portends will be the destruction of Gaia the overmind.

Wizard is the sequel to Titan. "Rocky" Jones has been made the Wizard by Gaia, which entails immortality amongst other things - such as the fact that she's the only one who can help perpetuate the Titanaide race, by making their eggs fertile with her saliva.

Runo Knows...Von Neumann's War
Travis S. Taylor, along with three other authors, wrote a book about defending against alien invasion with current technologies. The basic theme of the book - which I'll probably do a Runo Knows on later - is "we're screwed unless the aliens have some kind of hidden flaw".
