Why do people have to create so much drama? I swear it's so unnecessary. In my office there are certain people who just cannot function unless it's crisis mode all the time with "oh my god I can't believe this person did this or that person said that..." Really - who cares?

When I adopted the attitude of realizing that is anything really an emergency - is the world going to end? Is this client never going to give us any more business if it doesn't happen right this second? Are you going to die if this doesn't work out? The answer to all those questions are NO - so chill out and just do what you can. Drama? Past it. I'm not contributing and if you want to keep spewing then I'll just tune you out and do my thing.

I'm not saying you aren't doing any of that - or that you should. I'm just pointing out that you know you're fabulous - don't let others make you doubt that. Do your thing. To hell with people that don't like it. Self created drama is so 80's. - St. Elmo's Fire anyone?

There are moments when I feel I'd be lost with you and everyone else on here.

I totally agree the childishness of everything is too much for me. I know I'm still a baby age wise, but why do I feel like I'm the mature 50 year-old going--is this really necessary?

Thanks for the kind words and even the reminder to just put my blockers on and do my job. You ARE the best.

The story about your princess was just adorable--that kid could have her own TV show for cuteness :-)

And St. Elmo's Fire---loved that movie---but drama central! :)

I'm so sorry honey. Some people just do these things to keep the peace in situations like work (if what you're saying is someone was nicer at work than outside of it) and then show their true feelings elsewhere.

Heck, there are people in my office who act put off almost everyday, but the moment they need something from you, they're kind and funny. What?
