Have I mentioned lately how much I adore this? Because I do. Not only do you have a lovely singing voice, but you've captured the quiet, sad-yet-vaguely-hopeful tone I always try to convey in the stories in that 'verse.

Your imagery is just beautiful, too. Reminiscent of the 'verse and yet very much your own. While the song might be about Fusion, it transcends that little world too. I hope you won't be shy about posting this around: it needs a bigger audience than it currently has. :)

That was beautiful. I think it perfectly captures the tone of the Fusion 'verse. Also, I love your explanation for it. "Sam gets better, Sam gets worse, and no matter where he goes, Dean goes with him." And that's exactly the reason why I love this 'verse so much. Again, beautiful song! Loved it.

I'm truly glad that you enjoyed them, even though you aren't a fan of poetry, and that you were able to enjoy the song.

I don't know how that came into my mind, exactly, but it was instantly what I thought of when trying to sum up Fusion, nay, Supernatural in one short sentence (in the respect of Sam and Dean's relationship from this sort of perspective).

Ohhh, this song (and your voice!) is so beautiful, and I'm so glad you created it as a tribute to Fusion, because that is my top favorite 'verse in fandom apart from the one I cowrite and totally deserves magnificent works like this.

I get such different things out of FC that I couldn't even compare the two, my word. And yes, Fusion is deserving of anything anyone could ever throw at it. It's utterly amazing and I'm jealous that I can't write anything half that well (that seems grammatically incorrect, but I'm describing the process, not the object, so it's well! :D /nerd)

YES OF COURSE I DID <3 because even if Simple Gifts was schmoopy and indulgent, it was totally sweet. Thank you so much, both for writing that adorable thing, and for your compliments! The response to this has been overwhelming and I'm so glad that people enjoyed it!

Haha, well, I'm glad that Simple Gifts is one of the few fics I managed to make myself write, finish, and post. I really do wish I could get all my other WIPs out there too.

I just watched your video for ratherastory's fusion verse - I loved it. You did such a great job with the song and the pictures that the song created were wonderful. You mentioned that you were surprised by the responses - I'm surprised that you don't have tons more responses that was awesome!

Thank you for sharing your talent and your love for the stories in fusion!verse.

Thank you so much! I was so unbelievably nervous to post this because I've never played much in front of other people, so the fact that ANYBODY liked it amazes me, and responses like this make me glow from the inside out.

I might be putting together another piece at some point, maybe one with a bit more elaborate work put into it, so I'll let ratherastory know if/when it's done so she can post a link to it for everyone's enjoyment :D
