Pretty sweet, I've always wanted to play Silent hill but starting out with the older games. Do they normally have the similar story lines? This kinda reminds me of the movie but with different people.
In the grand scheme of things, the plots tend to tie together with each game, however each story within each game is different. The movie is exactly like the first Silent Hill only in the movie, the protagonist is female. The director felt that a mother/daughter relationship is stronger in the eyes of the public than a father/daughter relationship. Personally, I would start out with the first Silent Hill to get an idea of what the rest of the games will bring

Yea, I've always wanted to play. I figure if you start out with the older games; you'll see them develop and get better as you progress to the newer ones. I heard the movie had nothing to do with the games? Then again the person that told me probably didn't touch Silent Hill. Yea, also hearing that the game can judge by your reactions is fucking amazing. I'm sure that the newer ones have more realistic graphics, you'll scream because they're realistic; Not because they popped out of no where. I'm really thinking about buying the first Silent Hill.
