Really, the combat system is causing you problems? I thought it was much better in general than VPL's, with more flexibility, but I guess it is more action intensive.

On the other hand, it was great to be able to evade an enemy's attack range. That's something you could never do in VPL.

I think my problem is I've been applying the VPL combat strategy of "kill everything in one attack round or die" which really ran me into a wall in VPS.

One of those games I really enjoy, but will have to sit down with some day and do some testin with.
