I really like the way you build up imagery, like the description of the forest before the Massacre. I usually skip over reading descriptions of places, but you do a great job of revealing just enough to paint a mental image for the reader without bogging your writing down with too much detail.

It isn't a pairing I normally entertain. We don't know much about Lillia, and in a way I feel it has the potential to undercut Naesala/Leanne because of the possibility that he sees Lillia in her sister. There's no reason to assume that's the case, but it's there.
