Oh, festive punch. Quickest way to get an unattended 8-year-old wasted ever.

My Thanksgiving was work, a quick phone call to my mom, and spaghetti with my partner. Not bad.

We put the kibosh on that one by giving the little ones some of the un-club soda'd punch mix, pre-vodka. It was thick and bitter and they decided they wanted nothing more to do with it.

Mmm, spaghetti. I'm not one for holiday parties, myself, but I had a nice time. Punch notwithstanding.
