Rather heartbreaking, really. I love the flow of how you go from one person to the next and the little mentions of people- how Ino is now quieter and how Sakura wants to send a picture to Naruto trying to come up with something for Sakura's censored paragraph to Neji's heartbreaking promise to himself that he will ask his cousin to marry him. The socialist angle was interesting too.

Realistically speaking, a really depressing number of them should've been dead, but realistically speaking, I wouldn't have been left with any characters to write on the front lines if they had.

Thank you so much for your detailed comment - the flow from one character to the next was really the way it came to me and the way I thought it'd be most interesting and emotional, so I'm happy you liked it. Ideally I'd have been able to work the socialist stuff more smoothly, but the truth is that no-one cared about that except for Neji thinking back to how it was before the war, and thematically it was most fitting for him to think about the big picture and realize he'd been wrong.

Hey. Stumbled on your lj two days or so ago, and I've read everything Naruto you have on here. I've only commented on one other post though -the DVD commentary about the Arabian Nights AU, 'cause you said you were unhappy about that one line- because I didn't think you wanted to have to dig through a bunch of old posts.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I love your Naruto fics very much. All of them. Even though I only ship Sasuke/Naruto, Neji/Hinata, and Zabuza/Haku (Deflects growing interest in your OTP3. De Nile times 10 XD)

Sorry about the rambling, btw, but that's how I show genuine interest.
