Yea he defiantly scares me to, the he feels that sort of thing is necessary.Ever since I ran into "The Angels You Need" series by Te, ages ago, I have always had a small kink for Tim doing cyber mods to himself... I of course love Tim the way he is, but one and a while I like to see someone develop that "what if" scenario where he takes his insecurities a bit far and uses tech to make himself a little more efficient(at least in his mind). And Steph in general just kicks ass, while I thinks its cool that she is the current Batgirl, I loved her as a Robin, and of course I miss Cass. Is that the identity of "The Bat" by the way, in this fic? Cuz that would be epic.

I'm not a fan of "The Angels You Need", but I agree that it's a fascinating idea. One of the best shorter fics I've found on scary-efficient Tim is __marcelo's Five Things Bruce Wouldn't Have Done, But Tim - as Batman - Did.

Same here. Though I have to say, it's been a long time since I started trying and failing to write this fic, and my feelings for Steph-as-Robin have changed a lot since then. She's really bloomed as Batgirl and putting her back as Robin here definitely gave me the vibe that the situation of the world is off, here.

Yeah, Cass is the Bat. At first I tried to make the fic longer so I could explain it, but it wasn't right, so I threw my hands in the air and decided that I could live with people choosing to believe it's Kate or Helena. But I meant her to be Cass. FOR GREAT JUSTICE.

Oh Tim! What happened to you? I love the way that you've shown so much of this alternate universe in such a short fic. Steph is so beautifully Steph here with all the joy that she brings to being Robin. Fantastic!

Well, I'm guessing general Bad Furure-y stuff happened. People died, including Barbara and Bruce and Dick. Tim had his priorities called into question and, ah, acted on them. Probably.

I really like writing Steph-as-Robin; I'm glad you liked her.

Tim-as-Oracle = creepy. I'm glad all this keeping-the-details-vague-and-unaccounted-for-because-I'm-not-too-sure-how-they-work-out has this stylistic "understated" effect. :)
