These were lovely. Subtle and beautiful. All the quiet little references to the canon. I especially love the last two.

The one with Cass just broke my heart. Broke my heart into itty bitty little pieces. I loved all of the things Cass could hear in other people's body language, the way Bruce was missing Tim, missing Robin, just- guh. ITTY. BITTY. PIECES.

And I love your Steph voice! You do her perfectly. And I love seeing interaction between Dick and Steph. The two goofy members of the family, even when they're having a serious discussion... that's always fun.

Thank you for your lovely words. I'm delighted that you think I got Steph's voice, it's such a pleasure writing her that sometimes I get nervous I'm not doing her justice. I was also sometimes worried that their discussion was not Serious and Angsty enough, but I decided that after the Cass-and-Bruce-are-damaged bit, the fic could stand a bit more levity.

Cass is a woobie. Rule of the universe. It's even worse when she only has Bruce to play off of, because while fighting works for them, the two of them let other kinds of communication fall off the wayside and that way lie broken hearts. In my head, there's a 50/50 chance that one night she just puts on a Robin suit after this.
