Hmm, I'd say that Celebrationverse was back. Like, back for this theme. >_> It doesn't want anything to do with me so far any more, and my brain's getting kicked by Ino and/or AU. So probably no Celebrationverse before, er. Long. >_>

Hmm.. the Hinata in number 19 was pretty interesting.. I guess since we didn't really go that much into her mindset during the Celebrationverse! (or at least, when we did, it was the very first one, and then she really _did_ seem normal >>;) Her mindset though, is very strange.. I thought she liked Neji (re: original Celebration fics), but in here there's a lot more detachment from emotion. It's like she's looking on as an outsider, and letting him do smutty things to her because it's "interesting," and not because she likes touching him. There's a thing implied, too, that by "letting" him do that to her, she can also refuse him ( ... )

Yeah, this is the other side of Celebrationverse!Hinata. During her day-to-day life (when she's not working as an torture specialist, mostly), she's normal, more or less. Interrogating people, though, screws rather badly with her psyche - and here it's even worse than what she usually does, because it's not the usual context; it's not happening in the Konoha Interrogation department blahblah, it's not thge job she was sent for, and Neji is here, which shatters the walls Hinata has put between her life as an I&I specialist and the rest.

I'm glad that her detachment comes through, as it's the way my Hinata deals with the shock of, well... taking Kabuto's place in what he did to her. More accurately, when she tortures someone, she's torturing herself - the girl who was a prisoner in Sound. Which you can guess isn't the healthiest thing ever. >_>

There's a thing implied, too, that by "letting" him do that to her, she can also refuse him.Actually, I wanted to imply that she takes no part in it. I don't think she could refuse him - not ( ... )
