Ambiance and imagery and structure aren't what I write usually, so yay! It works! (last part is 'let's pretend it's in awy way original, shall we'. ;))

I just... ah. The last part was so wonderful. "When his shadow spreads everywhere instead of his father's" almost had me shivering from how powerful is sounded.

Thankie. I don't do a lot of imagery-based fics, so good to know it worked!

Thanks! *does that mean I should stop regarding the few imagery bits lurking on my hard drive with horror? ah well!*

Victory is the future.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful-- and if you wish to finish the series of drabbles here, it'll be a perfect ending. They always say that some stories are always destined for unhappy endings and I rather thought that was the case here but... that sense of things finally going right and Neji and Hinata finally forging the future that was owed to them in the last stanza is just... amazing. ♥

Hey, that's right. ...Yay! *stops writing and scraps ficlets-in-progress with a blissful air* *no, I'm joking* Kidding aside, it's sad I didn't realise that before you're right. I think I was too focused on overthinking the structure/imagery/etc. Usually I rather go with the flow.

*can't write unhappy endings* *especially when everyone's still alive and kicking* **goes against her belief of 'if it doesn't work how you want it to, then smash it'*

Glad you liked! :D

Always, darling, always! ♥

And I prefer happy-- or at least, not totally unhappy-- endings as well! I guess I've always sort of believed Voltaire when he said that "Happiness, too, is inevitable"-- and even the most miserable beginnings can have a glint or two of light.
