I like a lot of things about this... hello_scorpling March 30 2007, 14:59:34 UTC
... but most of all how spot-on Ino's character is. She has such a distinct personality, and you really got it down, with her being so proud of herself, acting before thinking and still never swowing her weaknesses, and yet caring so much about Sakura. Ino is an awesome character who doesn't get enough love in fandom, so when I find a good Ino fic, I'm happy. ^__^

Also, the part with Kurenais post mortem marriage was brilliant. I'd like to think that's what actually happened in the manga.

Thank you! I'm glad you think I characterised her right - I adore her, but somehow I rarely write fics about her. (and when I do they always end up Ino->Saku tinted. >_>)

Kurenai's post-mortem marriage is my pet theory, and so long as there's no canon to contradict it, I'm holding to it! *nods firmly*

Same here, she's so hard to write without making into someone she's not. Which is why your fic was so great. (and InoSaku is lovely, btw)

And, uhm...would you mind if I friended you? I lurked around a little in journal, and your writing style really appeals to me. ^_^

Hoshit woman... I'm not even going to try to sum up how I feel about this. It's... it's probably the best Naruto-fic I've ever read, sharing the first place with Erisabesu's Team Gai Chronicles...

Your Ino is amazing. Your writing style is amazing. Confusing at times, but that is how it makes you think and stay alert through the whole thing... I love all about it. Just...

...wow.

Can I rec it at my fanfic-rec list?

... *Hinata-like blush* One of the best Naruto-fic you've read?... Wow... That's a great compliment coming from you (you have any idea how long I've spent on your rec-list?). I'm really really glad you like it!

I adore Ino, so I'm really glad you like how I write her. And, heh... the confusion... I'm trying to work on that, but, er. not having so much success actually. But still, I'm glad you think it works!

OMG of course you can rec it! *flails*

(Heh. Glad you've found something you like on it ^^b)

Actually, I don't really like Ino that much... At least not canon!Ino. And... I can't really say that most fanfics kinda makes me dislika fanon!Ino as well, even in the ones where they're not bashing her for once.

But. Your Ino is so awesome I've barely got words for it.

Hm. I think that I'm going to go look for a few more of your fics. I know that there are more of them that I need to rec. I've just been too lazy to get to it before -__-

*hugs*

I...I...

I'm not coherent - the sheer awesomeness has befuddled me.

I'll leave a review soon...when my brain's working. Yeah.

*goes to read again*

OH MAH GOD, WOMAN. Have I told you of my love for you lately? Because in the wake of fic such as this, it is indeed so VAST.

Because your Ino? 8th wonder of the world, man. She is just so... so... SO INO that it hurts like a mutha when I see her making a decision as crazy as this one, even despite all the madness and potential danger and death and what have you facing her and the person she most loves (HELL YES THIS IS INOSAKU), and empathize with her despite the fact that I want to grab her by the shoulders (right after I finish throttling Naruto and Sakura) and ask her what the hell she is trying to do here. Because she GETS IT even when she tries not to get it and she understands even when she scorns understanding and she sees the parallels where she does not want them to exist and... and... and...

Damn, girl. I bow before your crazy writing powers. RITE M0RE SOON, PLZ!

Ino is trying to 'if you think for one single moment I'm going to let you walk away from me and just do nothing, you have another thing coming (they have all of you; I'll have your back)', but she does have a few points.

And the parallels - they're really the reason why Sakura and Naruto said yes in the end. Because Naruto realised he was like 'you can't understand' and Sakura was leaving Ino behind and they thought that they couldn't do what Sasuke had done. InoSaku: whenever I write Ino she ends up being in (for all intents and purposes) love with Sakura. Don't know if it's her defect or mine. (you want to throttle Naruto and Sakura because they're trying to ditch her or because they're leaving Konoha 'hi there missing-nins from now on' style? )

<333333333! V. v. glad you liked my Ino!
